Hello! 5th class here! We want to tell you about our trip to Rathwood, Co. Carlow, on Wednesday 14th December . We set off at 9 o'clock in the morning and the bus trip took two hours. It did not seem too long because we chatted and sang Christmas songs.
We had great fun in Rathwood. We met Mrs. Clause, Jackie Frost, Grandpa Reindeer and three funny elves called Twinke, Sparkle and Chuchu. The elves led us to the yellow train which took us to a cottage in the woods. Santa was in a little room in the cottage. We went in to visit him! He talked with us and gave us presents. The train took us back to a café where we ate our lunch and drank hot chocolate.
