Engineers' Week

As part of Engineers Week 4th and 5th class went to see a show called 'Who wants to be a Superhero?' in 'The Horse And Jockey'. It was a great experience and we had lots of fun doing it. Leanne, an engineer, called up volunteers to a stage to do experiments.The experiments Leanne did were: How do planes fly? How can we see through the dust in space? How do engineers make playgrounds safer to play in? And how are they saving the world?
The show also covered gravity, forces, energy, light, space, the environment and materials.It was great fun and we enjoyed it (:
