On Wednesday 27 of April some of 6th and 5th went to a Challenge to Change seminar in Kilkenny. There were a lot of other schools there. First we came in and set up. We had a look around and helped ourselves to some biscuits, coffee and juice. Then we got called in to sit in a big hall and there everyone introduced their projects. After that 5th went to do some workshops while some of 6th stayed at the project and the rest went to look at other ones. Then after about an hour 6th went to workshops. Some made music and some did drumming. Later the drummers performed. Finally we had some nice lunch. At around two o' clock we got on the bus and went home. It was a brilliant day out. To have a healthy school swim in the pool.
To have lots of fun go out and play in the sun.
If you want to keep healthy, eat fruit and veg.
Stop watching tv and get out of bed.
Stop lazing around and go exercise.
Go run! It's lots of fun.
Walking,cycling and running too,
All those things are good for you!

There are many different flowers growing in the garden,
daisies, poppies and roses too.
They are all beautiful colours,
like pink, green, yellow and blue. Flowing elegantly this way and that, sharing the grass with a black little cat.
The petals sway so delicately in the sun so bright.
They look so perfect standing there,
they look so right.

Here is a poem I wrote for the Health Promoting School Competition. Hope you enjoy!!!
Veg is yummy, it helps your tummy
Chocolate is bad, it makes your tummy sad
Juice rots your teeth
While water helps you think.
Exercise helps you get fit, when slouchin' on the couch makes you sick,
Come on , guys , you know what to do
Come on , guys , lets be a healthy

Spring drops in soft and sweet
And prances through the grass
Growing flowers and daffodils
Giving birth to little calves.
When it feels it is done
It skips and hops back
To where it came from
