Safe Footwear

Please ensure that children have flat shoes for school and good quality, safe runners for PE. Students are asked not to wear runners with school trousers/school skirt.

Please put names on all items of school clothing - including coats – this makes it easier to find homes for lost items!!

Jewellery in School

Students are asked to keep the wearing of jewellery to a minimum. If students are wearing earrings, they are asked to wear one pair of small studs or sleepers, in the earlobe.

Haircare

For reasons of hygiene, students are asked to always tie up long hair.

Healthy Lunches

The school has a healthy eating policy and all children must only bring healthy lunches to school. Fresh milk is available in school at a reduced price. Among the items that children are asked not to bring to school are sweets, chocolate, crisp type snacks, cereal bars, chewing gum, lollipops and fizzy drinks.

Books and Materials

Book lists are usually sent out in June and can be downloaded from our School Information section. The school operates a book rental scheme for all text books. Pupils are expected to treat these books with care and return them at the end of each year in the same condition as they received them.
