Little Red Kettle - our review!

27/1/2017

On Tuesday the 17th January, the Little Red Kettle drama group came to our school again. Everyone was excited. We knew it would be a weird and funny show!
The show was about a boy who thought he was weird and how his mum got stressed out about it. There was also a witch who wanted to rule the world and an alien who wanted to tell people that they were in danger. The actors let the audience take part in the show. The boys and girls who where chosen loved putting on costumes and wigs.
After coping with lots of strange situations, the boy realised  that everyone is weird in their own way! The witch did not manage to rule the world and everyone was happy and grateful at the end!

Gloves

20/1/2017

We wrote acrostic poems in school. I wrote two poems. Here is my poem about gloves.

Good for cold
Lovingly soft

Ooo it's so warm
Very soft and  fluffy
Everyday I love  to wear them
So nice

Spreading Christmas Cheer

17/1/2017

6th class went to the Cottage Nursing Home to carol sing a few days before Christmas. We went with Betty, Ms. Brown and Ms. Conway. When we walked in, the place was gigantic! We walked into the sun room where the elderly were sitting. We sang lots of Christmas songs and we played Jingle Bells on the recorder. One of the residents, Jimmy, was very funny. He loved singing. The residents and staff were very kind. They thanked us and praised our singing. They treated us to chocolates. It was an amazing, fun experience. We plan to go back again before the end of 6th Class.
