Back in December we wrote stories for the Junior and Senior infant classes. 

We wrote our first draft in our English copies. Mrs. Russell and Mrs. Lambert helped us to edit our work, then we made a book and designed illustrations, a front cover and a blurb.

In December, we were ready! We went to the Infant classes and read our stories for them. They really enjoyed listening to our stories and we loved writing stories for them!

         Bulbs go in the ground. Bulbs grow and turn into flowers. Lots of flowers grow from bulbs. In our school we have daffodils, snowdrops, crocuses, hyacinths and tulips. The flowers look lovely.
          In November we put bulbs in water. We covered the top of the bulbs with a paper cone to keep them dark. When they started to grow we took off the cones. Our flowers started to grow up to the light. Our flowers were hyacinths. One grew faster than the other. One was a pink hyacinth and the other was a purple hyacinth. We liked our flowers. They were beautiful.
