We welcome back all our pupils and families. A big 'fáilte romhaibh' to our new pupils and their parents/guardians. We are looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow, Thursday 29th August and working together for a great school year. Let's step off to a good start!
This is the school's 9th year participating in the Discover Primary Science and Maths Awards. We engaged in a variety of projects and experiments covering all the Science strands incorporating maths, engineering and technology. We are very pleased with all the hard work and learning that we have achieved this year in Science. Enjoy looking through our log of evidence which shows some of our Science work! Best wishes from all the staff to the pupils in Rang 6 and their families as they celebrate Confirmation in St. Mary's Church tomorrow. Well done, girls, for preparing so well. We are busy as bees this spring! As well as all our usual work and games, we are focusing in a particular way on science, care of our environment, Green Schools and being active. Rang 2 and Rang 6 are busy preparing for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, First Holy Communion and Confirmation. Add in 'World Book Day' and 'Seachtain na Gaeilge', not to mention 'Stars in Their Eyes'! In the midst of it all it is lovely to look around us for the wonderful signs of spring. Happy springtime everyone!
