Welcome to Presentation Primary School, Clonmel
At Presentation Primary School, Clonmel, we are a Catholic Girls’ Primary School, also welcoming boys in infant classes. Since our foundation in 1813, we have been at the heart of education in Clonmel and the surrounding areas.
Inspired by the vision of Nano Nagle, we embrace all pupils, striving to provide the highest quality education in a caring, inclusive environment, tailored to meet individual needs.
Our School Community
We currently have 272 pupils from diverse cultural and social backgrounds. Our school is also home to two special classes established by the Department of Education, catering to children in the South Tipperary/West Waterford area with specific speech and language disorders. These classes offer intensive support from a teacher and a speech therapist for one to two years.

Hot Meals
We are proud to provide free hot meals for all students every day, in partnership with Gourmet Kids. Parents can create an account for their child and select from a diverse menu, accommodating all dietary requirements.

We are fortunate to have on-campus pre-school and after-school care services, run by Busy Bees. For more details, please visit our Facilities section.
Our school is located on the Dungarvan Road, on the outskirts of Clonmel, in a picturesque setting beside the River Suir. We share our campus with Presentation Secondary School and are adjacent to the Presentation Convent. Our expansive grounds, including access to beautiful gardens, all weather pitches and surrounding fields, provide an ideal environment for outdoor learning and exploration. We are also proud to have a sensory garden along the school’s main avenue, offering a peaceful retreat for our students.
