April 2026 - some activities in our Active School Week

Whole School Event - Active Yards!!

Huge thanks to the 6th class pupils who volunteered to be playground leaders for Active School's Week.  The whole school had great fun doing fun activities such as shots at basketball hoops, target games, volleyball, connect four, skipping and lots more.  Some kids just danced to the lively music!! All the pupils had great fun!!

Huge thanks to Louanne (S.N.A.) who taught the 6th class as well as the staff how to play volleyball..... over the space of one week!!  We had great fun at the match!!  The whole school made posters and there was great fun and banter about who the kids were cheering for!!  The pupils all gave loud cheers for their favourite team.  After this very, very close match, the teachers better beware as the traditional end of year basketball match draws closer!! 

April 2026 - Learning on the Move on the Active Walkway.

We had great fun during Active Schools Week doing our Active Schools Walk this week.  We were learning on the move.  It was great fun.  We had such a fabulous week!!  Staff and pupils all wore tracksuits for the week.  Written homework was replaced with active homework.  We all focused on fitness and fun for the week.  It was super!!
